Editorial
Accuracy is the foundation of every profile published on Claraus. This article explains the editorial process used to verify business information before publication and how profiles continue to evolve as new information becomes available.
Every business has a story, but not every story is accurate.
Across the internet, company information is often copied from one website to another without verification. Small mistakes are repeated until they begin to appear as accepted facts. Over time, outdated information becomes difficult to distinguish from current reality.
Claraus was created to approach business documentation differently.
Before information is included in a profile, our editorial process aims to confirm it through reliable and publicly available sources whenever possible. Company websites, regulatory filings, official announcements, reputable news organisations, verified interviews, public business records, and other credible references help build a more complete picture of an organisation.
Verification is not a one-time event.
Companies evolve. Leadership changes. Products expand. Headquarters move. New funding is announced. Acquisitions happen. Because businesses are constantly changing, company profiles should evolve with them.
Where information cannot be independently verified, Claraus avoids presenting assumptions as facts. Our goal is not to publish first. Our goal is to publish responsibly.
As Claraus grows, every published profile remains open to future editorial updates whenever new verified information becomes available.
