Professor Lawrence Ikechukwu Ezemonye is a Nigerian environmental scientist and university administrator whose academic career has focused on ecotoxicology, environmental forensics and related areas of environmental research. He holds a BSc in Education from the University of Jos and postgraduate degrees from the University of Benin and has accumulated more than three decades of teaching and research experience. Before becoming Vice-Chancellor of Igbinedion University, he served as Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration) at the University of Benin and as pioneer Director of the National Centre for Energy and Environment of the Energy Commission of Nigeria. Ezemonye currently serves as Vice-Chancellor of Igbinedion University Okada and is identified by the university as a professor of Ecotoxicology and Environmental Forensics.
