Dangote Group is a Nigerian multinational industrial conglomerate headquartered in Lagos, Nigeria. Founded in 1981 by Aliko Dangote, the company has grown into one of Africa's largest manufacturing and industrial enterprises with operations spanning cement, fertilizer, petroleum refining, sugar, salt, food processing, logistics, packaging, and infrastructure. Originally established as a commodity trading business, Dangote Group transitioned into manufacturing in the 1990s, focusing on local production to reduce Nigeria's dependence on imports.
