Andy Jassy is an American technology executive who serves as President and Chief Executive Officer of Amazon. He joined Amazon in 1997 and played a central role in developing Amazon Web Services, serving as its founding leader and helping transform AWS into one of the world's leading cloud-computing businesses. Jassy became CEO of Amazon in July 2021, succeeding founder Jeff Bezos, who moved into the role of Executive Chairman.
