Brian T. Olsavsky is an American finance executive serving as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of Amazon.com, Inc. He joined Amazon in April 2002 and has held a succession of senior financial and operational leadership positions within the company. Before becoming Senior Vice President and CFO in June 2015, he served as Vice President of Finance and Chief Financial Officer for Amazon's Global Consumer Business, overseeing financial operations supporting Amazon's websites, merchant services and fulfillment activities. Earlier in his Amazon career, he led finance for the company's North America retail business and Worldwide Operations organization. As CFO, Olsavsky oversees Amazon's overall financial activities, including treasury, tax, investor relations, internal audit, controllership and financial operations.
