Adeola Adedewe

Adeola Adedewe is the Nigerian-born founder and Chief Executive Officer of Kredete, a financial-technology company focused on cross-border payments and settlement for diaspora and emerging-market communities. His experience with financial exclusion began personally after moving to the United States, where, despite having stable employment and strong academic credentials, he was rejected multiple times when applying for a credit card because he lacked a U.S. credit history. He later worked at JPMorgan processing cross-border payments involving markets including Nigeria, Ghana, Hong Kong and Singapore, giving him direct exposure to the operational and settlement challenges within international payments.
Adedewe founded Kredete in 2022, initially combining international remittances with credit-building for immigrants and diaspora communities.
