Dr. Alexander Chika Okafor

Chief (Dr.) Alexander Chika Okafor is the founder and Group Chairman of Chicason Group of Companies, a privately held Nigerian conglomerate with interests across oil and gas, manufacturing, mining, real estate, agriculture, healthcare, transportation, construction and travel. He began his business as a local trading house in 1980 and subsequently developed it into a diversified group comprising multiple operating companies and affiliated businesses. Chicason describes the group as a home-grown, technology-driven conglomerate with growing commercial exposure beyond Nigeria. Dr. Okafor has also held leadership positions in business and professional organizations, including the Nnewi Chamber of Commerce, and has received national and international recognition for his contribution to business and economic development.
