Chika Ikenga

Chika Ikenga is a Nigerian entrepreneur and industrial chemist who founded Natures Gentle Touch in 1997, developing haircare products specifically around the needs of African hair and Nigerian consumers. A graduate of Industrial Chemistry from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, Ikenga combined scientific training with entrepreneurship to build a locally developed haircare brand at a time when imported products dominated the Nigerian market. Under his leadership, Natures Gentle Touch expanded from its original haircare products into a broader beauty and personal-care portfolio and established a professional hair institute that has trained thousands of people. His work has contributed to the growth of locally developed haircare solutions and the professionalisation of Nigeria's beauty industry.
