Engr. Dr. Maxwell C. Ugwu

Engr. Dr. Maxwell C. Ugwu is the founder and chairman of BISTAR Limited, an indigenous Nigerian engineering company established in 1990 with capabilities spanning civil engineering, infrastructure, water development, environmental services and oil and gas technical services. His professional career combines engineering practice with engineering management, beginning with Unipetrol Nigeria Plc, where he advanced to Divisional Operations Manager and was involved in major industrial and infrastructure projects before establishing BISTAR. Through BISTAR, Ugwu has built a long-standing engineering enterprise serving major industrial companies and public-sector institutions across Nigeria, with work covering roads, bridges, industrial foundations, marine works, water infrastructure and environmental remediation. His career is particularly notable for the development of an indigenous engineering business operating across both conventional infrastructure and the technical-service requirements of Nigeria's energy and industrial sectors.
