Gilbert Ramez Chagoury

Gilbert Ramez Chagoury is a Nigerian-born businessman and industrialist whose career has been closely associated with the growth of the Chagoury Group into a diversified African business enterprise. He founded the group in Nigeria in 1971 and developed interests spanning construction, property development, manufacturing, hospitality, telecommunications and other industries. His business activities have included major construction and urban-development ventures in Nigeria, while his wider career has also encompassed international business and philanthropy. Through the Chagoury Group, Chagoury became one of the prominent business figures associated with the development of privately led industrial and infrastructure enterprises in Nigeria.
