Jay Kimmelman
Co-Founder & Chief Executive Officer, NewGlobe
Entrepreneur, Technology Executive, Education Executive
Jay Kimmelman is an American entrepreneur and technology executive who co-founded NewGlobe with Shannon May and Phil Frei. Before NewGlobe, Kimmelman founded and led EduSoft, an education software company, giving him an earlier background in applying technology to education and assessment. He subsequently turned toward the broader problem of education delivery in emerging markets, working with May and Frei on a model that could combine standardized instructional systems, technology and centralized operational support with large-scale school delivery.
