Born and raised in the United Kingdom, Lawani relocated to Nigeria in 2014 and subsequently developed Arami around the production of locally made beauty and body-care products using African ingredients. Her professional background combines technology, communications and entrepreneurship, including a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science with Business and Management from the University of Manchester and previous work in corporate communications and public relations.
