Sim Shagaya

Sim Shagaya is a Nigerian entrepreneur and technology executive whose work spans e-commerce, advertising, education technology and higher education. He founded The uLesson Group in 2019, initially establishing uLesson as a technology-enabled K-12 education business focused on delivering curriculum-aligned learning through digital devices. The business subsequently expanded beyond its original school-age learning model with the establishment of Miva Open University, transforming uLesson from a single education technology platform into a group operating across K-12 and tertiary education.
Shagaya's role in the education sector has therefore developed from building a digital learning platform into establishing an education ecosystem spanning learning content, technology and university education. He remains Founder of The uLesson Group and Chancellor of Miva Open University.
