Dr. Stella Chinyelu Okoli, OON, was a Nigerian pharmacist, entrepreneur and philanthropist who founded Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries Limited. Her entrepreneurial journey began with the establishment of Emzor Chemists in Lagos in 1977, which grew into Emzor Pharmaceutical Industries, one of Nigeria's prominent indigenous pharmaceutical manufacturers. Under her leadership, the company developed from a retail pharmaceutical business into a large-scale manufacturer and distributor of medicines and healthcare products. Dr. Okoli was widely recognized for her contribution to Nigeria's pharmaceutical industry and for building a locally owned healthcare company with a broad product portfolio.
