BUA Foods Plc is a Nigerian food manufacturing and fast-moving consumer goods company with operations spanning sugar, flour, pasta, rice and edible oils. The company was formed in 2021 through the restructuring of several BUA food businesses, with BUA Sugar Refinery Limited emerging as the surviving entity before the enlarged company was renamed BUA Foods. It became a public limited liability company in December 2021 and was listed on the Nigerian Exchange in January 2022. BUA Foods serves the Nigerian market and has expanded its operating footprint across West Africa, positioning itself as a major food manufacturer within Africa's growing food and consumer-products sector.
