Abdul Samad Rabiu, CFR, CON

Abdul Samad Rabiu is a Nigerian industrialist, entrepreneur and philanthropist who founded BUA International Limited in 1988, establishing the business that developed into BUA Group. His leadership expanded the group into food production, sugar refining, rice, flour and pasta, cement, infrastructure, logistics, real estate and other industrial activities. BUA's food businesses were subsequently consolidated into BUA Foods Plc, which became publicly listed on the Nigerian Exchange. Rabiu currently serves as Chairman of BUA Foods Plc and Founder and Executive Chairman of BUA Group. He previously served as Chairman of Tropical Continental Bank and Nigeria's Bank of Industry.
