Raenest is a Nigerian financial-technology company founded in 2022 by Victor Alade, Richard Oyome and Sodruldeen Mustapha to address the difficulties African freelancers and businesses faced when receiving and managing money across international borders. The company emerged from the founders' own experience with the limitations of cross-border payments and access to global financial services, initially developing tools that enabled African professionals to receive international payments and manage funds in multiple currencies. Raenest has since expanded from its original cross-border payments proposition into a broader financial platform offering multi-currency accounts, international transfers, stablecoin services, cards, investment access and financial tools for businesses.
