Dr. Awele V. Elumelu, OFR

Dr. Awele V. Elumelu, OFR, is a Nigerian medical doctor, entrepreneur and philanthropist and the Co-Founder of the Tony Elumelu Foundation. She co-founded the Foundation with Tony O. Elumelu in 2010, contributing to its mission of empowering African entrepreneurs and advancing inclusive economic development across the continent. Dr. Elumelu is also involved in healthcare, business and philanthropic initiatives, with her professional work spanning medical practice, corporate leadership and social impact. Through the Tony Elumelu Foundation, she supports the Foundation's broader commitment to entrepreneurship, economic empowerment, youth development and increased opportunities for African women and men. The Foundation officially identifies her as its Co-Founder and Trustee.
